Jack Henry Indexes are the metadata of a Jack Henry file. Each Index has a Name, Type, and Value. Jack Henry Index Names are used to refer to each specific Jack Henry Index. Examples of Index Names include AccountNumber, BranchNumber, and DateOpened. Similar to OnBase Keyword Types, Indexes store values specific to an individual file, and can help narrow down searches for retrieving files. Using the Integration for Jack Henry jXchange, Index Names can be mapped to OnBase Keyword Types. For a list of supported Index Names, see Supported Jack Henry Index Names.
