The Integration for Netsmart Homecare installer (Hyland Integration for Netsmart.msi) is located in the install\Integration for Netsmart folder of your OnBase Core Services build.

  1. Double-click setup.exe to start the installer.
  2. Click Next. The Destination Folder screen is displayed.
  3. At the Destination Folder screen, select the local folder to install the components to. By default, components are installed to C:\Program Files\Hyland\Integrations\Netsmart(32-bit operating systems) or C:\Program Files(x86)\Hyland\Integrations\Netsmart(64-bit operating systems). Click Change to select a different folder for the installation.
  4. Click Next. The Service Location screen is displayed.
  5. Specify the following:

    Setting Name

    Description

    Display Name

    The display name of the service location.

    Service Path

    The URL to the Service.asmx page of the Application Server.

    Data Source

    The data source name (configured at the Application Server) to connect to.

    Use NT/LDAP Authentication

    Windows Active Directory or LDAP Authentication is not available in the Integration for Netsmart Homecare.

  6. Click Next. The Options screen is displayed:
  7. Select from the following options:

    Option

    Description

    Add entry to Startup folder

    Select if the Integration for Netsmart Homecare should always start on system startup.

    Note:

    This check box is selected by default.

    Start in connected mode

    Select if the Integration for Netsmart Homecare should always connect to the OnBase Application Server at startup and remain in Host Mode.

    Enable Citrix compatibility

    Select if the Integration for Netsmart Homecare is going to be used in a Citrix environment when running in Host Mode.

    Additional command line parameters (optional)

    Specify any command line switches that should be applied.

    See Adding a Command Line Switch for more information on available command line switches.

  8. Click Next.
  9. Click Install to install the Integration for Netsmart Homecare.
  10. When installation is complete, click Finish.
