You can import images from a scanner, digital camera, or storage device.

Note:

Images are automatically indexed with Keyword Values from the currently selected patient if the Document Type's AutoFill Keyword Set matches the synchronized AutoFill Keyword Set.

To import one or more images:

  1. Ensure that the scanner, digital camera, or storage device is attached to your workstation.
  2. In the Netsmart Homecare application, select the patient to whom the document pertains.
  3. In the Integration for Netsmart Homecare, select one of the available images in the AllDocs tab's Imaging drop-down list.
  4. The Import window is displayed.
  5. Select one of the following input methods:

    Import

    Description

    Browse imports the document from a drive accessible from your workstation.

    Acquire scans in the document using a scanner, or imports the document image from a scanner, digital camera, or other supported digital storage device.

You can also drag and drop a file into the Preview pane. For more information, see Importing Documents by Dragging and Dropping.
