The Netsmart Homecare application controls the behavior of the Integration for Netsmart Homecare.
The following modes are available in the Netsmart Homecare application, and are therefore available in the Integration for Netsmart Homecare:

Host Mode- The Integration for Netsmart Homecare is connected to OnBase via the OnBase Application Server. You have access to documents in OnBase.
The following Quick Access Toolbar icon indicates that the Integration for Netsmart Homecare is in Host Mode:

Field Mode- The Integration for Netsmart Homecare is not connected to OnBase. You only have access to documents that have been downloaded to the workstation database.
The following Quick Access Toolbar icon indicates that the Integration for Netsmart Homecare is in Field Mode:
When the Integration for Netsmart Homecare starts, it enters the mode it was in before it was closed.
The Integration for Netsmart Homecare restarts if a different user performs an action in the Netsmart Homecare application. For example, a user performs an action in the Netsmart Homecare application, causing the Integration for Netsmart Homecare to start. The user closes the Netsmart Homecare application, but the Integration for Netsmart Homecare remains open. If a different user opens the Netsmart Homecare application and performs an action, the Integration for Netsmart Homecare restarts before displaying documents.
