When the Fax Connector Service is running, it attempts to execute any configured rules and archive faxes accordingly. If you pause the Fax Connector Service, it stops processing faxes until it is restarted.
Tip:
It is a best practice to pause processing while changes are made to the configuration of the service.
To pause the Fax Connector Service, click the Pause Processing button in the Processing ribbon group.
To begin processing, click the Begin Processing button:
When the Fax Connector Service resumes processing, it uses any saved changes to the configuration, including any new or changed rules that have been saved.
