If the Set Property to ShareBase Notification Link Workflow action fails, a generic error is displayed to the user, and no ShareBase links are sent. Additional errors may be logged by the Diagnostics Service.
This issue may be caused by a configuration conflict between OnBase and ShareBase. It also may be caused by a configuration error on the Workflow action.
To resolve the issue, do the following:
-
Using OnBase Studio, check the recipients configured for the Workflow action. Ensure the email addresses of the intended recipients are valid.
-
Using ShareBase Administration, check the active password policy. Ensure the password configured for the Workflow action satisfies the password policy.
For information on using ShareBase Administration, see the ShareBase help files.
-
Using ShareBase Administration, check the share rights configured for the ShareBase library. Ensure the ShareBase user associated with the ShareBase profile has sufficient rights to create shared links for the library.
-
Using ShareBase Administration, check the user groups of the ShareBase user associated with the ShareBase profile.
-
Ensure the user does not belong to a user group where the Minimum Access Security setting is stricter than the link security configured for the Workflow action.
-
Ensure the user does not belong to a user group where the Maximum Expiration Duration setting is less than the link expiration configured for the Workflow action.
