Point and Click indexing can only be used with image documents; it cannot be used with PDF documents.
With Point and Click indexing, you can capture Keyword Values simply by clicking on an image document's text in the Document Viewer. Clicking on the text highlights the OCR data overlaying the area of the selected word or phrase in a blinking binding box and populates the value in the currently selected Keyword Type field. Both the populated value in the Keyword Type field and the corresponding binding box on the document are colored according to the following OCR confidence value coloring scheme:
-
Green: 75-100
-
Yellow: 50-74
-
Orange: 25-49
-
Red: 0-24
Unlike Point and Shoot indexing, Point and Click indexing features the color highlights and does not require you to hold down Shift and drag a box around the target text on a document to capture the desired value. For more information on Point and Shoot indexing, see the Advanced Capture or Intelligent Capture for AP module reference guide or help files.
