  1. From the Keyword Update Field Configuration dialog box, select the Keyword Type to format.
  2. Click Format. The Date Format dialog box is displayed.
  3. Order —Specify the order that the month, day, and year are presented in the date value. Options include the following, where M represents Month, D represents Day and Y represents Year.
  4. Month Settings
    • Numeric—The month is represented by a number. Select the Month Leading Zero check box if the month value is always represented by two digits (January = 01 rather than 1).

    • Three Letter Months—The month is represented as an uppercase, three-letter abbreviation (e.g., JAN, FEB, MAR).

    • Full Month—The month is spelled out in its entirety (e.g., January, February, March).

  5. Separator —The value used to separate Month, Day and Year values. A slash (/) is commonly used as a date separator. Also, a space character is a valid separator value.
  6. Day Leading Zero— Days are represented by two digits. 1 through 9 are preceded by 0(01 = first day of the month).
  7. Century —Specify whether the year value includes the century. Dates that include a century are represented by four digits rather than two.
