Using the Add Keyword action will always add a new instance of a Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group for the Keyword Value being added, even if there is an existing instance of the Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group on the document and the particular Keyword Value being replaced is blank in that instance. For example, one instance of a Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group exists on a document with an Account Number Keyword Value of “123” and a Customer Name Keyword Value that has been left blank. A Keyword Update process that adds a Customer Name Keyword Value will create a second instance of the Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group that contains the new Customer Name Keyword Value and a blank Account Number Keyword Value, resulting in two instances of the Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group on the document.
