To run a Keyword Update process:

  1. Log onto the OnBase Client and click Processing.
  2. Select Keyword Update – Doc Type to run a process that is configured to run on one or more specific Document Type(s). Select Keyword Update – Global to run a Keyword Update process that is configured to run on the entire OnBase database. After selecting a process type, the Keyword Update window is displayed.
  3. Click on the name of the process you want to run.
  4. Right-click and select Keyword Update Processor. A warning message is displayed to notify you that any changes made by the process will be permanent.
  5. Click Yes. The process is executed and a SYS - Verification Report is displayed, showing the results of the process.
    Note:

    If you receive a message in the verification report saying the keyword could not be deleted, this could mean one of the Keyword Values was null (blank) from the start. For example, if you have 15 documents and one of those documents has a null value for a specified Keyword Type, you will receive this message, even though the other 14 values were successfully deleted.
