To configure the OnBase Application Server for use with OnBase Entrust:

Note:

Before configuring the application server, ensure that you have completed the steps above, for configuration of the web server. If the application server is on a different machine from the web server, Integration for Single Sign-On must first be installed on the application server.

  1. Launch the Single Sign On Config utility (SingleSignOnConfig.exe), if it is not already open. This utility must be run locally on the OnBase application server. The Single Sign On Config dialog is displayed.
  2. Change the Virtual Directory to point to the OnBase application server. This is the directory that contains the OnBase web.config file (e.g., c:\inetpub\wwwroot\AppServer).
  3. Select App Server under Type. The Type drop-down list is enabled and the Public Key Token input is displayed.
  4. Select Standard from the drop-down list.
  5. Click in the white area beneath the Public Key Token column heading. (null) is displayed.
  6. Select Do not synchronize under Synchronize User Groups. The other options are intended for use with Active Directory and LDAP authentication to create users that do not already exist in OnBase.
  7. Click Configure
  8. Click Close to close the Single Sign On Config utility.
