To configure the OnBase Web server, OnBase Patient Window, and DeficiencyPop for use with OnBase Entrust:

Launch the Single Sign On Config utility (SingleSignOnConfig.exe) locally on the OnBase web server. The Single Sign On Config dialog is displayed.
- Enter the path to the Virtual Directory of the web server. This is the directory that contains the OnBase web.config file (e.g., c:\inetpub\wwwroot\AppNet).

Select Web Server under Type. The Authenticator drop-down list is displayed.
- Select Uses App Server. The Web Server Config options are enabled.
- From the Authenticator drop-down list, select OnBase Entrust. The OnBase Entrust Properties dialog is displayed.

Select the token type from the Select the Entrust Token Type area:

Asymmetric: The default setting that uses a Public Key Hash. The key is stored in the web.config of the web server.

Symmetric: The symmetric key allows for a MAC-address-based filtering scheme. The key is protected by DPAPI and stored in the web server registry with ACL.
