Select the Interactive User Authentication option to prompt users for network/domain authentication credentials in order to log in to OnBase.
This setting has no effect on single sign-on, PeopleSoft single sign-on, or AD FS logins.
This can be useful in situations where multiple OnBase users all use the same workstation under the same domain log in (for example, a generic scanning workstation).
-
Select Thick Client to require a log in to the OnBase Client and Configuration modules.
-
Select Core Services to require a log in to all Core-based modules.
Anonymous access to the OnBase Web Server and Application Server virtual directories should be enabled when Interactive User Authentication is enabled.
If Interactive User Authentication is not selected, users are not prompted to log in to OnBase(non-interactive/automatic login). The domain account currently logged in to the workstation is used to authenticate the user in OnBase.
If Interactive User Authentication is disabled, additional configuration is required to allow non-interactive/automatic logins for Active Directory. See Required Configuration Settings for Non-Interactive Active Directory Authentication.
