OnBase user groups that are not mapped to Active Directory groups can be set as manually-managed user groups. These groups are managed entirely through user group administration instead of Active Directory. No Active Directory group can be mapped to the OnBase user group, and Active Directory authentication does not affect membership of the OnBase user group.
To configure an OnBase user group as a manually-managed user group:
- Select a user group in the OnBase Groups list. You can also select multiple user groups to configure as manually managed.
- Right-click a selected user group.
- Select Manage Manually from the right-click menu. All user groups selected are configured as manually managed.
The words (Managed manually) denote manually-managed user groups in the OnBase Groups list.
To remove this setting, right-click a user group and select Manage Automatically. You can also select multiple user groups. All user groups selected have the Manage Manually setting removed and are configured as automatically managed.
Hold down the Shift key and select the first and last user group to select the range, or hold down the Ctrl key and select the individual user groups.
