The purpose of the Chart Document Report is to list charts that have not yet entered Coding and/or Analysis because they are missing required documents. The Chart Document Report lists the following:

  • Charts that are missing documents required for Coding and/or Analysis

  • The required documents that are missing from each chart.

Run the report regularly to determine whether any documents are consistently late or missing. To run a Chart Document Report, do the following:

  1. From the OnBase Client, select Medical | Create Chart Document Report.
  2. The Generate Chart Document Report dialog box is displayed.
  3. Select the admit date range for the charts you want to include in the report.
  4. Click Create Report.
    The report is created and archived to the report's Document Type designated by your system administrator.
