If you have Grant Chart Access privileges, you can use the Grant Chart Access feature to grant temporary access to users requesting a chart to which they do not have privileges.

  1. From the OnBase Client, select Medical | Grant Chart Access. The Grant Chart Access screen is displayed.
  2. Select a chart access request from the list on the left side of the screen. Double-click the request to open the chart.
  3. If necessary, change the number of days to grant chart access in the Access requested for field. This must be a number greater than zero.
  4. In the Notes field, type notes. (Notes are optional, unless you changed the number of days you will allow the user to access the chart in the Access requested for: field). Note text must be 255 characters or fewer.
  5. Click Approve to grant the request, or Reject to deny the request.
