Information about impending deficiencies is provided at the bottom of every physician letter.

Depending on your system's settings, deficiency information may be broken out and outlined by chart, or the letter may display only the subtotals for each Deficiency Type and missing item.

If deficiencies are broken out by chart, then the following information is listed for each chart:

  1. Number of days since discharge, taking into account the time the patient was discharged. A full day is 24 hours since discharge.
  2. Patient name, account number, and MRN
  3. Admit Type
  4. Discharge/admit dates
  5. Total deficiencies by Deficiency Type
  6. Details for Missing Document/Dictation Document Types, Incomplete Forms, and External Deficiencies, if applicable

    Currency and short date formats respect the locale of the delinquency letters server.
