If upon obtaining a chart using Chart Search, you are denied access, you can request access from HIM.

  1. After logging on to the OnBase Client, initiate a Chart Search
  2. After typing search criteria and initiating the search, any charts that meet the criteria display in the Charts list.
  3. Select a chart to view its contents.
  4. If you are denied access, you can request access from HIM.
  5. Select a reason from the Request Reason drop-down list.
  6. If you selected Other, you must type a reason for the request.
  7. In the Number of Days field, type the number of days you need to have access.
  8. Click OK when finished.
  9. After the request is approved, you will be able to access the chart.
    Note:

    When an administrator approves or denies your access request, you may be notified of the decision by an email notification. This feature requires the Hyland Distribution Service to be configured and running.
