The following example describes a basic example of an Incremental Parallel Upgrade from OnBase 16 to OnBase Foundation EP1.
In the following example, imagine a solution consisting of Document Import Process (DIP) Processing and Web Server components. The upgrade process should first be performed in the test environment, and the same incremental process should then be performed in production. It is a reasonable and desirable expectation to plan for a week or more in between each step.
This example consists of OnBase 16 Document Import Processor (DIP) and Web Server components to be upgraded to Foundation EP1. The starting point is a working OnBase 16 system:
