Beginning in OnBase 15, the DMCoreX API has been deprecated and is no longer supported. Many legacy Workflow and WorkView | Case Manager implementations may have scripts that still reference the DMCoreX API.
Before upgrading to OnBase 15 or later, scripts and custom solutions written against the DMCoreX API or DMWebSvcMgr must be updated to reference the Unity API. In OnBase 15 and later, only Unity API scripts are supported. Additional information about API support can be found in the OnBase APIs Technical Community on the Hyland Community site.
A project to rewrite legacy scripts in your solution might be very large and may not be appropriate to complete as part of an IPUP. This project must be completed prior to upgrading to OnBase 15 or later since legacy scripts are no longer supported.
When considering a project to update custom code, note that it is possible that Workflow or WorkView | Case Manager tasks which previously required custom scripting or coding may have been written into a newer version of OnBase. Administrators and developers have reported that in addition to using Unity API scripts, much of their legacy custom code was able to be replaced by native OnBase functionality.
