The IPUP path for the Unity Client is similar to the process for upgrading the Web Server. Unity Clients of different versions can be installed in parallel on user workstations. The example steps that follow can be adapted for migrating a user from the Web Client to the Unity Client.

If your solution creates users at the time of initial login (e.g., when using autologin with domain authentication), users must first log in using the newer version of OnBase. If a new user belongs to a user group that has not yet had their workstations upgraded, ensure the first login occurs from an upgraded workstation. Alternatively, an administrator can manually create and place the user in the proper groups.
