The Document Composition for Microsoft Word module (version 1) underwent significant changes during the OnBase 9.2 release cycle, with the release of a new variant of Document Composition (version 2). Beginning in OnBase 14, the original Document Composition for Microsoft Word module is no longer supported.

If you are upgrading to OnBase 14 or later, you must use version 2 of Document Composition. When upgrading, your templates must be converted from version 1 to version 2. Consult with your first line of support to determine the best approach for your organization's upgrade.
