In OnBase 16, the Hyland Server Components Installer (sometimes referred to as the “Server Side Installer”) has been deprecated and replaced with separate installers for the server-side components previously installed using the Hyland Server Components Installer.

This change was made to allow for incremental parallel upgrades of the modules and components installed. It also reduces the overall size of the installers by allowing system administrators to deploy only the installers for the modules and components they want to install.

This change also modified the default naming conventions used for the AppNet and AppServer directories. The default installation folders use a naming convention of AppNet_XX and AppServer_XX, where XX refers to the version of OnBase being installed.
