If you encounter issues with a device running the OnBase Mobile Access for Android module, you can enable logging to assist in troubleshooting. To enable logging:

  1. Create a new text file on your workstation's desktop called oblog.csv.
  2. Connect the device to your workstation.
  3. Copy oblog.csv to the device's root directory.
  4. Disconnect the device from your workstation.
  5. Open the OnBase Mobile Access for Android module on your device, and begin to use it. Because oblog.csv exists in the device's root directory, logging is automatically enabled.
  6. When logging is enabled, the following options are available on the OnBase Mobile Access for Android module Settings screen:

    Button

    Description

    Send Logs

Tap to send logs to your first line of support.

    Clear Logs

    Tap to clear logs.

  7. To disable logging, remove oblog.csv from the device's root directory.
