You open OnBase Mobile Access for Android from your device's Home screen.

To open OnBase:

  1. Tap the OnBase icon.
  2. The OnBase End User License Agreement (EULA) is displayed the first time you open OnBase Mobile Access for Android. You must accept the EULA to use OnBase Mobile Access for Android. Tap Accept to accept the EULA and continue. Tap Decline to close OnBase Mobile Access for Android.
  3. The OnBase launcher is displayed.
  4. If you have not previously logged on, tap Settings to enter connection information.

  5. Tap the following button:
  6. The login screen is displayed.
  7. Tap the User Name field and type your OnBase user name.
    Note:

    If your Mobile Applications Broker Server is configured to use multiple domains, you must specify a domain in front of your user name. The domain and user name are separated by a backslash, e.g., domain.net\username. If you have questions, please contact your system administrator.

  8. Tap the Password field and type your OnBase password.
  9. If you want your user name to be remembered the next time you log in, select the Remember Username check box.
    Depending on your configuration settings, you may be required to register your device before you are able to log in to OnBase. See Device Registration for more information.
  10. Tap the following button to log in to OnBase:
  11. Upon logging in, if there are any system announcements, they are displayed in an Announcements pop-up window. Tap the left or right arrow icons to navigate between multiple announcements. When you are finished viewing announcements, tap OK to dismiss the announcements.
  12. The launcher screen is displayed. The launcher screen displays the modules you can access. Additionally, the date and time of your Last Login are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
    Note:

    The Last Login date and time are displayed using the time zone set on the device.

    Note:

    The Last Login date and time are not displayed when connecting to an institutional database.

    The following buttons may be available based on your user privileges and configuration.

    Button

    Custom Queries

    Tap Custom Queries to search for documents by using a Custom Query.

    Workflow

    Tap Workflow to open OnBase Workflow.

    See Workflow for more information.

    Note:

    If no Workflow task lists are configured with the Available for Mobile Devices option selected, you are prompted that you do not have access to any queues after tapping Workflow.

    New Form

    Tap New Form to create a new E-Form or Unity Form.

    Upload

    Tap Upload to take a photo and upload it to OnBase, or upload an existing image to OnBase.

    User Admin

    Tap User Admin to access the user administration module.

    Settings

    Tap Settings to modify settings.

    Tap this button to log out.
