You can view the following types of documents using the OnBase Mobile Access for iPad module:

E-Form

You can enter information in the E-Form in the same way that you would using a desktop-based OnBase client. When you tap a field that allows you to enter comments, the iPad's keyboard is displayed.

Tip:

Use the iPad keyboard's Previous and Next buttons to move through configured E-Form fields.

Note:

E-Forms licensing is required to view and enter information in E-Forms.

OLE

Rendered as read-only. The following OLE documents are supported:

  • Excel (.xls, .xlsx)

  • Word (.doc, .docx)

  • PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)

  • PDF (.pdf)

Note:

Some functionality (for example, password protection for PDF documents) may not be available.

Unity Form

You can enter information in the Unity Form in the same way that you would using a desktop-based OnBase client. When you tap a field that allows you to enter comments, the device's keyboard is displayed.

Note:

Unity Forms licensing is required to view and enter information in Unity Forms.

When viewing documents, you can zoom in and out by pinching your fingers together or apart, respectively. You can rotate the document between portrait and landscape mode by rotating your device. You can also rotate the document by placing two fingers on the screen and turning the image.

For multi-page documents, tap the area below the image to open the page selector.
