After enabling Basic Authentication and URL Authorization, the Mobile Applications Broker Server must be secured, and the default domain must be configured. To secure the Mobile Applications Broker Server:
- In IIS Manager, open the configured application for the Mobile Applications Broker Server.
-
Select the service page to configure. The service page to select depends on which OnBase mobile application or applications are to be used.
-
ServiceToBroker.svc must be selected when using the following applications:
-
Mobile Access for Android
-
Mobile Access for iPad (Legacy)
-
Mobile Access for iPhone (Legacy)
-
-
MobileBroker.svc must be selected when using the following version-specific applications:
-
Mobile Access for iPad
-
Mobile Access for iPhone
-
Tip:If your organization is using a combination of different OnBase mobile applications for device registration (e.g., Mobile Access for Android and Mobile Access for iPad) therefore requiring both service pages to be configured, complete the procedure to configure one service page, and then repeat the procedure to configure the other page.
-
- Right-click on the service page to configure, then select Switch to Features View.
- On the home screen for the service page selected in the previous step, double-click the Authentication icon.
- Select Anonymous Authentication and click Disable in the Actions pane.
- Select Basic Authentication and click Enable in the Actions pane.
- With Basic Authentication still selected, click Edit... in the Actions pane. The Edit Basic Authentication Settings dialog box is displayed.
- Enter the name of the default domain in the Default domain text box and click OK.
-
If necessary, repeat steps 3 through 8 to configure the other service page.
The Mobile Applications Broker Server is now secured and the default domain is now configured for Basic Authentication.
