To add notes to a document:

  1. From an open document, click Notes.
  2. Select Add Note.
  3. The Note Types dialog box is displayed:
  4. Select a Note Type from the list.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The note is displayed in the Notes pane.
  7. Add text to the note.
  8. Click Close to save the modifications to the note and close the Notes pane.
