To create a new document from a document template directly in the Office Business Application for 2021:

  1. From the OnBase tab, click Templates.
  2. The Document Templates pane is displayed.
  3. Select a template from the Document Templates pane. The program used to generate the template opens if it is not already displayed. For example, if the template is a Microsoft Word template, the template opens in Microsoft Word.
  4. Make the desired changes to your template.
  5. From the OnBase tab, click Save.
  6. Follow the steps in Importing a New Document.
