Forms can be configured to open as editable or read-only in the Mobile Healthcare app for iOS.

When forms are configured to open as editable, they can be edited once the form is opened, without requiring the user to enable editing.

When forms are configured to open as read-only, forms cannot be edited until the user taps the Enable Editing button on the screen.

Note:

Read-only forms functionality is only supported in the OnBase Mobile Healthcare app for iOS.

To change whether forms are editable or read-only, in OnBase Configuration, select Medical | Form Packets | Form Packet Manager Options. The Form Packet Manager Options window is displayed:

The Form View Options for Mobile Healthcare section displays the available form types. By default, all form types open as editable.

To make a form type read-only:

  1. Select one or more form types from the Open as Editable list.
  2. Click Add >>.
The selected form types are added to the Open as Read-Only list. These forms will be read-only for users when opened in the Mobile Healthcare app. To edit the form, users must tap the Enable Editing button on the form.

To make a form type editable:

  1. Select one or more form types from the Open as Read-Only list.
  2. Click << Remove.
The selected form types are added to the Open as Editable list. These forms will be editable for users when opened in the Mobile Healthcare app.
