In order for users to upload photos or create forms, each document type that will be used for uploading photos or creating forms must be configured as a Mobile Document Type. Mobile Document Types are configured in the Configuration Module.

  1. From the Configuration module, select Document | Mobile Document Types. The Document Types for Mobile Applications screen is displayed.
  2. In the Available Document Types list, select the Document Type(s) to be assigned as Mobile Document Types and click the Add button.
The Document Type(s) that you selected are added to the Selected Document Types list.
  3. When you are finished adding the necessary Document Types, click the Close button.

The following must be true for Document Types configured as Mobile Document Types:

  • Users must have the necessary rights and privileges to view or create documents. See Configuring User Group Privileges.

  • Users must also be assigned Document Type rights to all documents that they need to view or create in the Mobile Healthcare app.

  • Document Types must be part of a Medical Document Type Group.

  • Document Types used for uploading photos must have a default file format of Image.

Additionally, a primary AutoFill Keyword Set must be configured for forms and photos to be uploaded to OnBase. See the following section, Configuring AutoFill Keyword Sets, for details.
