In the context of the OnBase Mobile Healthcare app, a third-party image form is a revisable image document that can be marked up and signed using a finger or stylus. Third-party image forms are added to new and existing form packets using OnBase Workflow. When a user completes and submits a third-party image form in the Mobile Healthcare app, the markups applied to the document are permanently burned onto a new revision of the document.

In order for users to complete and upload third-party image forms to OnBase, the following must be configured:

  • Document Types used for third-party image forms must have the Default File Format set to Image File Format.

  • Document Types used for third-party image forms must be configured to Allow Multiple Revisions.

  • Users must be assigned the Create Revisions permission.
