OnBase Mobile Healthcare apps provide additional functionality for users to switch between different healthcare-specific application modes. These app modes are configured by adding specific keys to the Mobile Applications Broker Server web.config file, and users can switch between the configured modes within the app.
One Mobile Applications Broker Server instance can be configured to support the different modes available in the Mobile Healthcare app. In order to configure and use these app modes, you must have the appropriate licensing to use each mode. The following Mobile Healthcare application modes can be configured on a single Mobile Applications Broker Server:
-
Patient Registration mode (also referred to as Electronic Registration)
Requires OnBase Mobile eCapture licensing. See the Mobile eCapture module reference guide for licensing and configuration information.
-
Epic Integration mode
Requires Integration for Epic Canto or Integration for Epic Haiku licensing. See the Integration for Epic Canto and Epic Haiku module reference guide for licensing and configuration information.
-
OnBase login mode
Requires OnBase Mobile Healthcare licensing. See the Mobile Healthcare module reference guide for licensing and configuration information.
Mobile Healthcare users are able to select from the configured application modes during first-time setup of the app, or they can switch to a different mode from the Settings screen within the Mobile Healthcare app. If more than one Mobile Applications Broker Server is used, users must edit the Server URL before selecting a different mode.
For additional information about licensing and settings needed to configure each application mode, refer to the module reference guides listed for each mode.
