The OnBase Mobile Healthcare app supports deploying default app configuration settings to devices when using Mobile Device Management (MDM) software. This functionality is vendor-neutral and is dependent on the ability of the MDM software to push app configuration settings to individual devices.

Because this functionality is vendor-neutral, a comprehensive list of supported MDM vendors is not available. Work with your MDM software vendor to determine if your MDM software is able to push app configuration settings to individual devices.

Note:

The OnBase Mobile Healthcare app for Android only supports deployment using AirWatch ® by VMWare.

You can configure default settings to:

  • Define a Mobile Applications Broker Server URL to connect to

  • Define whether the URL is read-only

  • Define a default application mode for the app

  • Define whether the application mode is read-only

Note:

The names and values of the settings used to define the default application mode differ between Android and iOS. These differences are noted in the OS-specific topics that follow.
