To open a form packet from the patient record, complete the following steps:

  1. While viewing a patient record, tap the Packets icon:
    Tip:

The Packets icon displays an indicator if any packets are assigned and have not been finalized.

The form packets assigned to the patient are displayed.

  2. Select a form to complete.
Pending forms are grouped together based on the date of service and chart ID. If a patient has packets assigned that are not attached to a specific chart (for example, Patient Registration packets), those forms are listed under a separate Patient Level heading. To display all forms available for signing, tap All Forms.
  3. Select one of the following options:
    • Sign with PIN

Select Sign with PIN to set a PIN to prevent a user from navigating away from the packet signing interface. After selecting Sign with PIN, you are prompted to set a four-digit PIN. This PIN must be entered in order to leave the packet signing interface.

      Note:

The user is signed out automatically after five (5) incorrect PIN entry attempts.

    • Sign without PIN

Select Sign without PIN if you do not want to require a PIN to exit the packet signing interface.

    • Review

Select Review to review and finalize form packets.

For information about completing forms, see Completing Forms. For information about reviewing and finalizing form packets, see Reviewing and Finalizing a Form Packet.
