A form packet may contain a third-party image form (image document) that can be viewed and signed. Third-party image forms are added to form packets through OnBase Workflow.

Unlike OnBase Unity Forms and Image Forms, third-party image forms do not have individual text fields to fill out. Instead, these forms are completed and signed using your finger or stylus to mark up the image. When the form is submitted, the markups applied to the form are permanently burned onto a new revision of the document.

The following example shows a third-party image form displayed for signing:

You can use the tools in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to complete and sign third-party image forms. The following tools are available:

Description

Tap the hand icon to enable the move tool. When the move tool is enabled, you can use your finger or stylus to zoom, scroll, or pan across the document.

Tap the pencil icon to enable the drawing tool. When the drawing tool is enabled, you can use your finger or stylus to apply markups or signatures on the document.

Tap the eraser icon to enable the eraser tool. When the eraser tool is enabled, you can use your finger or stylus to remove unnecessary markups before submitting the form.

If necessary, you can reset the form to clear all markups you have applied. Resetting the form creates a new revision of the form with no markups applied.

To reset the form, tap the following icon:

When you are finished marking up the third-party image form, tap Submit. The form is uploaded to OnBase as a new revision with the markups permanently burned into the image.
