To review and finalize a form packet from a scanned bar code, complete the following steps:

  1. On the module selection screen, tap Find Packets.
    A bar code scanning interface is displayed.
  2. Aim the device so the bar code is lined up within the area indicated on the screen.
  3. When the code is successfully read by the scanner, a list of options is displayed.
  4. Select Review. The patient's form packet is displayed:

    The patient's forms are displayed in a read-only view. Review each form individually to ensure the appropriate information has been filled out.

  5. Swipe the screen to the left or to the right to move between the next and previous forms.
    If you need to make changes to a form, tap the back button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to return to the bar code scanning interface, then re-open the form packet by following the steps in Opening a Form Packet by Scanning a Bar Code.
  6. After you have reviewed the forms in the packet and ensured that the information entered is correct, tap Finalize Packet.
    Note:

    Ensure you have completely reviewed all of the forms in the packet before tapping Finalize Packet. Once a form packet is finalized, the forms are made available to other users and processes in OnBase. After you finalize a packet, you can no longer make changes to the packet from within either the form packet interface in the OnBase Mobile Healthcare app or the Healthcare Form Manager application.

    Note:

    After finalizing a form packet, if you need to immediately assign another form packet to the same patient, return to the module selection screen in the app before assigning the new form packet in the Healthcare Form Manager. This allows the app to refresh the packets view after the new form packet is assigned.
