Patient documents are accessed and viewed from a patient record in Patient Lists or Patient Search. Documents are organized into different categories (tabs) on the left side of the screen. By default, these tabs are collapsed. Depending on your system configuration, each tab may or may not display the number of documents it contains.
To view a document:
- Open a patient record.
-
Tap a tab to expand it and display its contents. When a tab is expanded, the documents contained in that tab are listed below it.
Note:
Depending on your configuration settings, only the tabs that contain documents may be displayed. If empty tabs are displayed (i.e., tabs with zero documents), then you are not able to expand them.
Depending on your system configuration, there may be a limit to the number of documents that are listed at one time. To view more documents in the list, tap Load More Documents.
To quickly collapse all expanded tabs, long-press on one of the tabs. After a moment, all of the expanded tabs collapse.
-
Tap the name of the document you want to view. The document is displayed.
