Application Server connection information for the OnBase Service Account used to run OnBase for Meditech must be configured for encryption purposes.

To configure Application Server settings:

  1. Open the Multiserver Configuration shortcut from the MultiserverNET installation directory. In a default installation, this is located at:
    • C:\Program Files\Hyland\MultiserverNET (in a 32-bit environment)
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Hyland\MultiserverNET (in a 64-bit environment)

    The Application Server Connection Information dialog box is displayed.

  2. Enter the following values in the fields provided.
    Setting Description
    Application Server URL The URL of the OnBase Application Server. The URL should follow the format of https://hostname/AppServer/Service.asmx where hostname is replaced with the name of the IP address of the server hosting the Application Server, and AppServer is replaced with the application name of the Application Server in IIS. Both HTTP and HTTPS are allowed.
    Data Source The name of the connection string configured for the OnBase Application Server.
    Service User Name The OnBase service account user name used to run OnBase for Meditech.
    Service User Password The OnBase service account password used to run OnBase for Meditech.
    Confirm Service User Password The OnBase service account password used to run OnBase for Meditech, entered again for confirmation.
  3. Click Test Connection to test your connection to the Application Server.
  4. Click OK. The Application Server connection information is added to the Hyland.Integrations.Meditech.Multiserver.NTService.exe.config file as encrypted text within the Protected.Settings element.
  5. Recycle the application pool of the Multiserver for the changes to take effect.
