If desired, you can strip pages from a multi-page PDF document when it is imported into OnBase. To strip pages from a multi-page PDF document, follow these steps:

  1. Select the desired Document Type branch under the Document Types node.
  2. Double-click on the [Strip Page Options] branch. A drop-down list is displayed.
  3. Select one of the following options:

    Strip Page Options

    Description

    None

    Select this option to strip no pages from documents processed into the selected Document Type. This option is selected by default.

    Strip First Page

    Select this option to strip the first page from documents processed into the selected Document Type.

    Note:

    This option is not supported for use with single-page documents.

    Strip Last Page

    Select this option to strip the last page from documents processed into the selected Document Type.

    Note:

    This option is not supported for use with single-page documents.
    Note:

    Pages stripped from the file during processing will still be analyzed by the PDF Input Filter, and any Keyword Values located on the stripped page(s) will still be recorded and added to the archived document.
