With additional modification, PDFPop links can be sent from the Web Client via the Send To | Create DocPop Link option. To send PDFPop links, ensure the following requirements are met:

  1. The Hyland.Web.PdfPop datasource setting must be configured in the Web Server's Web.config file. The remaining PDFPop settings should be configured appropriately for your solution.
  2. Users who need to email links must be granted the Create Integration Hyperlink privilege in OnBase Configuration.
  3. Only one document at a time can be selected in the Document Search Results list. The Create DocPop Link option is unavailable from the Document Search Results list if multiple documents are selected.
  4. After selecting the Create DocPop Link option, you must modify the .aspx page on the URL string from docpop.aspx to PdfPop.aspx. See the following example:

    http://WebServer/AppNet/docpop/PdfPop.aspx?doctypeid=139

    Note:

Emailing a PDFPop link does not guarantee the recipient will have access to the linked document. Access is governed by the privileges of the account used to log on to PDFPop.
