Session expiration allows users' sessions to time out after a period of inactivity. Enabled by default, session expiration helps enforce a more secure OnBase environment and ensures licenses are not held unnecessarily.
When the session is created through a separate application, the session will not automatically be disconnected by OnBase Patient Window, and the license will remain in use. It is the responsibility of the application that creates the session ID to disconnect the session when finished, which will release the license.
