Depending on your system's settings, you may be able to set a saved filter as your default filter. Designate a saved filter as your default filter if it should be applied by default for each record you access.

Note:

The default filter is not applied if you access OnBase Patient Window using a link that opens a specific document or chart. This behavior ensures you can view the documents you were meant to see.

To designate or change your default filter:

  1. Rest your pointer over the main menu icon and click Options. The Options dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click the Filters tab.
  3. Under Default Filter, select the filter you want to use as your default filter.

    The number in parentheses is the internal filter ID. It is displayed for administrative purposes.

  4. Click OK to save the change.
