In order to appropriately configure your system for the Physical Records Management module, the following steps must be completed for each repository you require:

  1. Define your locations.
  2. Create your repository and configure your repository.
  3. Create a Document Type for your physical records.
    Note:

    Users can transfer custody of checked out physical records to any other OnBase users, regardless of Document Type User Group privileges.
