All Keyword Types assigned to the Document Type selected are available for use as fields. In addition, there are several default Keyword Types that are available, regardless of the Document Type selected.

Default Keyword

Description

>>Contents

Populates the Contents Description Name field.

>>Document Date

Stores an import index field as the document date. When using this default Keyword Type, you must configure the date format as it appears in your import index file.

>>Document Type

Identifies the document type of the document being imported. The >>Document Type field is case sensitive and the value associated with this default keyword must match the document type configured in OnBase exactly. This field is required if the import process imports documents belonging to more than one document type.

>>Dummy Key

Ignores a field. If your import index file contains a value that you do not wish to associate with a Keyword Type, configure it as a dummy key.

>>Location

Populates the Location Description Name field.

>>Repository Name

Specifies the Repository in which the physical record belongs. The Repository's name must exactly match the name specified in the Physical Record Repository dialog box. Either >>Repository Name or >>Repository Number must be configured for an import process.

>>Repository Number

Specifies the Repository in which the physical record belongs. The Repository number must be specified. This number is found in the Physical Record Repository dialog box when the repository is selected in the upper right-hand corner. Either >>Repository Name or >>Repository Number must be configured for an import process.

>>Sub-Location 1

Populates the Sub-location 1 Name field.

This field is limited to 10 characters.

>>Sub-Location 2

Populates the Sub-location 2 Name field.

Note:

This field is limited to 10 characters.

>>Sub-Location 3

Populates the Sub-location 3 Name field.

Note:

This field is limited to 10 characters.

>>Sub-Location 4

Populates the Sub-Location 4 Name field.

Note:

This field is limited to 10 characters.

>> ID

Populates the ID field. Each physical record must have a string assigned to it in this field. The >> ID field is required for import processes.
