There are many configuration options within the Repository Configuration for: [repository name] dialog box.
Each configuration setting is described below:

ID Name |
The value entered in this field is used for the label of the field that contains the ID name for a record locator in the Client module. Note:

Contents Description Name |
The value entered in this field is used for the label of the field that contains information pertaining to the contents of the repository. This label is displayed in the Client module. Note:
This field is limited to 40 characters. |
Location Description Name |
The value entered in this field is used for the label of the field that contains information pertaining to the general outermost location of the repository. This label is displayed in the Client module. Note:
This field is limited to 40 characters. |
Repository Description |
This field contains a brief description of the repository. |
Repository Rules |
This field contains rule information that is used for the repository. |
Sub-location1 Name |
Label for the field that identifies the second level within the identified location. Note:
This field is limited to 10 characters. |
Sub-location 2 Name |
Label for the field that identifies the third level within the identified sub-location 1. Note:
This field is limited to 10 characters. |
Sub-location 3 Name |
Label for the field that identifies the fourth level within the identified sub-location 2. Note:
This field is limited to 10 characters. |
Sub-location 4 Name |
Label for the field that identifies the fifth level within the identified sub-location 3. Note:
This field is limited to 10 characters. |
View Historical |
When this option is selected, the Check Out History box is displayed for records within the repository. |
View Current |
When this option is selected, the Check Out Status area is displayed in the record locator view for records within the repository. This area contains information about the Current Status, Person in Possession, and Expected Return Date. |
View Pending |
When this option is selected, the Pending Check Outs box is displayed for records within the repository. |
Maximum Check Out Days |
Number entered in this field will be used as the maximum number of days. |
User Set |
When this option is set, no value is automatically populated into the Number of Days box, in the record locator viewer, by default. |
Maximum as Default |
When this option is set, the number of days set in the Maximum Check Out Days setting is automatically populated into the Number of Days box in the record locator view and the field is read-only. |
Request |
When this option is selected, the Request button is available to users. |
Self Re-Check Out |
Reserved for future functionality. |
Overdue Notification |
When this option is selected and OnBase is configured appropriately, an e-mail notification will be sent when a record is overdue. Note:
When using internal mail, overdue notifications include the Physical Record Locator as an attachment. |
ID Must Be Unique |
When this option is selected, the ID Name provided for each locator must be unique. |
Self |
When this custody type is selected, users can check out records for themselves and require no second party intervention. |
2nd Party |
When this custody type is selected, only users with permissions to check out records can check out and check in records. Users cannot check out records on their own. In order for this option to work efficiently, it should be paired with the Request option. |
Custody Transfer |
Allows the transfer of records to other users. When this option is selected, the Transfer button is available on checked out records. |
