To modify a record's repository, ID and location information:
- Open the appropriate record locator.
- Click Modify. The applicable fields become editable.
- Make the appropriate changes to the record's information.

Click Save.
Note:
If you close the dialog box before saving, you will be prompted with a message box that states: Do you want to continue saving? If you click Yes, changes will be saved and the dialog box will close. If you click No, changes will not be changed and the dialog box will close.
Note:When you move a physical record locator to another repository, the move is logged in the transaction log.
