You can use the Public Access document results list to view and open the documents returned by a search.
In the document results list, you can:

Click a document to open it in the in-line viewer.

Click the Open in New Window button to display a document in a separate browser window or tab.

Click an available column header to sort the results by those values.

Resize column widths.
Though basic controls for sorting, selecting, and opening documents in the list are common across all search types, the columns displayed in the list can vary depending on the type of search and how it is configured. For example, full-text search results will include a Score column which displays the confidence rating of the search.
