In the OnBase Configuration module, you must configure a user account for Public Access. This account is used by the Public Access API. The OnBase public user should belong to a User Group that has rights to any Document Types, Custom Queries, Folders, or full-text search functionality designated for public access.
Do not assign the user rights to Document Types containing private documents that could be retrieved by a Public Access Custom Query or Folder query. Do not assign the user rights to any related index data or metadata, including Keyword Data Sets and Auto-Name Values, that could contain private data.
