The miscellaneous line type (MISC) is used as a generic purchase code if an ITEM (part, good, service) code is not used. In Costpoint they are referred to as PO Line Charge Types. The table name is LN_CHG_TYPE. The ID code is a maximum of 6 characters. Taxable defaults are used from this code.
